Awol is a little slice of heaven! Because of our AWOL stay, our mini-honeymoon was truly unforgettable! This was our first time visiting Provincetown in a more low-key, relaxing way and the first time visiting outside of memorial day weekend. It was a totally new experience and a huge part of that was our stay at AWOL. From the moment we arrived we felt at home and all of the staff, particularly Dan, were integral to that. The setting is stunning, the atmosphere is cozy, and it has all of the amenities you didn't know you needed. We can't wait to return!

AWOL is a perfect surprise offering relaxing, casual, stress-free yet comfortable modern quality vibes. Andrew runs the show and AWOL is well set up offering everything from a solid breakfast to an onsite pool to all of the amenities necessary to enjoy the adjacent marshes, seashore and beaches. The rooms are unique and offer a beachfront home feel that is not often found around Ptown. When you are ready, all of Ptown’s offerings are an easy walk or bike ride away. The staff including Soyer, Cody and Brandon take great care and assure you have whatever you need to enjoy your stay. I’ll be back again and again.

So much charm, great views, fun touches like s'mores at the evening fire pits, loved the free bikes. Breakfast doesn't start until 8 am. Be aware rooms and bathroom are quite small, and nearby Provincetown is LGBTQ-focused (perhaps particularly so visiting in June) so that we felt somewhat out of place as a heterosexual couple. Overall a memorable place, but overpriced for value.

AWOL is an absolutely perfect little P-Town get away! The amenities were fantastic, including nitro brew coffee, and an elaborate breakfast bar. The whole ambiance is beautiful and extremely well thought through. So many wonderful little touches, down to the body wash in the shower which was heavenly. They had bikes to rent, a stunning pool, adorable little patio set ups and fire places. It’s very clear they put a lot of love into this place. The location is perfect because you’re close to everything yet off the beaten path. You walk out your door to beautiful dunes and view of the bag. The service was so helpful and friendly, even gave us a great pizza place recommendation. My only qualm was the bed setups. They’re on a raised floor, without a bed frame. Which is very stylish and chic, just not that easiest to maneuver. My mother joined me on this trip and found it challenging getting in and out of bed. The rooms are fairly small, which is fine if you don’t plan to spend a lot of time indoors, but just something to be aware of. But overall an absolutely fantastic stay and experience and we will certainly be back!

Stunning view. The rooms have a fantastic design concept and execution. The room was modern and sleek, with minimalist elements all hinting at nature. I don’t know if the walls are sound proofed or not, but believe me when I say I didn't hear a peep while I was inside my room. Nothing, not a sound. When I stepped outside, however, I could hear the couple next door consummating their marriage. I'll leave that tidbit of info right there, do with it as you would like. The front desk staff are professional, handsome, and imperturbable. The stay at AWOL was worth every penny.

AWOL truly feels like a hidden gem! My stay was absolutely wonderful—just a short stroll from downtown, yet perfectly tucked away for peace and quiet. The property offers breathtaking views and charming grounds, with thoughtful details like a s’mores bar and a delicious, fresh breakfast each morning. The staff, especially Sawyer, Brandon, and Andrew, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at home. Complimentary coffee, tea, breakfast, and treats like s’mores made my visit feel extra special. The rooms are beautifully designed and comfortable—if you can, choose a ground floor room for an expansive patio and stunning bay views! I loved that AWOL is about a 20-25 minute walk to the downtown area—it gave the hotel a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, especially in the evenings beneath the stars. Being next to the National Seashore is a huge plus, and the free bikes provided by AWOL are perfect for exploring the surroundings. Thank you to the entire AWOL team for an incredible stay and an experience I’ll never forget. I can’t wait to return!

Wish we could stay longer. Definitely will return to AWOL. Warm and cozy room to relax. Wake up to nature serenity, enjoy hearty breakfast and best HOT cold brew in town, then bike along the sandy trail. Appreciate all the hospitality and we had a wonderful time!

There’s something magic about staying at the AWOL hotel. Besides the incredibly helpful, lovely (and very handsome) staff, the comfortable well appointed rooms, the outdoor showers, the gorgeous pool, the fully stocked bar, the nighttime s'more's at the fire pits, (as if you could ask for more…) the location is unparalleled. For someone who appreciates Provincetown primarily for its natural beauty, tucked away inside thousands of acres of pristine national seashore, watching the sunset and shooting stars at night from your private balcony, and waking to the view of the Moores and the ocean was truly incredible. Highly recommend.

LOVE THIS HOTEL. We did a small wedding with 25 guests on the property and it was PERFECT! Andrew and the AWOL Crew were the best part of the trip with impeccable service.
